This copy numbered "Khazineh 1653" is kept in Topkapi Library in Istanbul and it is the oldest surviving copy of Rashid al-Din's Jami al-Tawarikh in Persian language, which was copied in Rashid's quarter under the patronage of the author himself in 714 AH.

This work has about 100 pictures, the color printing of which shows the artistic value of this work. This work is available in four volumes (three volumes) with writing paper and cellophane cover

A century later, this book, parts of which were missing, became the property of Timurid king Shahrukh. Shahrukh, the famous historian of his court, commissioned Hafez Abro to complete and renovate it. Hafez Abro has made changes in the version, the most important of which is to replace the pre-Islamic history section with the first volume of his Majam al-Tawarikh .

This very important work is the oldest version of the first volume of Hafez Abro's Majam al-Tawarikh , which was written by the author himself in 829 AH.
This edition has 435 pages, 143 illustrated pages and six religious pages, which has been printed and published by the written heritage research institute in Katz Rahli, along with a research introduction written by Dr. Mohammad Reza Ghiyathian.
